Charles Goldstuck is founder and Managing Partner of GoldState Music, a private investment firm focused on investing in the music sector. GoldState’s funds are focused primarily on investing in music rights as well as in enterprises in need of growth and expansion capital. 

He is a highly accomplished operating executive and investor with experience ranging from recorded music, music publishing, and technology. He has consistently run and built businesses that have delivered returns for investors. 

He is the founder of The Sanctuary at Albany, a state-of-the-art recording studio and music academy in the Bahamas as well as the Executive Chairman of TouchTunes Interactive Networks, the world’s largest out of home interactive digital entertainment network, spanning over 80,000 locations. As an investor and operator, Goldstuck transformed TouchTunes from a money losing, in-venue music business, into a digital media powerhouse. He was the architect of the modernized American jukebox further integrating social networking into all TouchTunes products, and developed award winning digital jukeboxes, the Virtuo and Angelina. He was also the co-chairman of Hitco Entertainment, a contemporary recorded music label.

Prior to that, he was President and COO of the Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG), overseeing business operations of the BMG music labels. He co-founded J Records in 2000 with industry legend Clive Davis and built it into the RCA Music Group. He was also previously Executive Vice President/General Manager of Arista Records, and Executive Vice President, Capitol Records. During his time as a music executive, he nurtured artists such as Usher, Leona Lewis, Dave Matthews Band, Foo Fighters, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Sarah McLachlan, and Avril Lavigne. He revitalized the careers of a number of acts, including Rod Stewart and Annie Lennox and delivered hits from new acts like Maroon 5. 

Goldstuck actively participates in philanthropic and social causes. Goldstuck co-founded the Bahamas Youth Foundation which will provide scholarships for local Bahamian teens to attend The Sanctuary’s music programs, classes and lessons. 

He sits on various charitable boards and has been the recipient of numerous philanthropic awards during his career including the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation Courage and Commitment Award (2013), UJA Federation Music Visionary Award (2008), City of Hope Spirit of Life Award (2006), Foundation of Ethnic Understanding Joseph Papp Racial Harmony Award (2005), and YouthAids Man of The Year Award (2004). 

He is a board member of the City of Hope Children’s Hospital Foundation, Chairman of the Bahamas Music Foundation and Vice Chair of the Entertainment, Media & Communications Division of the UJA Federation.
